One of our wonderful classmates is moving tomorrow and will no longer be in class with us. So we made goodbye cards for him today so that he will never forget his friends at Eagle Heights.

Painting pumpkins
Last week was pumpkin week in Senorita Palmer's first grade class. On Wednesday we got to paint some mini pumpkins donated by a wonderful room mom. Look how beautiful they are!
Pumpkin seed taste testers
Yesterday our class got a little messy as we cut open a pumpkin and counted its seeds. Did you know that a large pumpkin might have 437 seeds like ours did? Today we got to try the baked seeds . Some really like them, and some really did not.
